13th Annual Conference of Europe’s Sciences and Arts Leaders and Scholars
It’s About People: Social and Technological Resilience for Health and Sustainable Development
14 – 19 March 2025 ONLINE
with an on-site plenary in Maribor, Slovenia
Alma Mater Europaea and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts invite academics, researchers, thought leaders, practitioners, and postgraduate students, to submit original research, case studies, work, and other insights for presentation at the 2025 13th annual conference It’s About People. Both full panels and individual presentation proposals are welcome.
Main Theme and Objectives
In selecting the theme ‘Social and Technological Resilience for Health and Sustainable Development’, this significant scholarly event seeks to explore the potential of academic findings, including the recent qualitative leaps in the utilization of large language models and generative AI, to contribute to the fostering of resilient societies, in which security, dignity and human flourishing are at the forefront. Two prominent areas in which resilience is of the utmost importance are promoting and protecting the health and well-being of individuals and populations and addressing climate-related and demographic challenges to balance intergenerational and intragenerational equity with developmental needs. The 13th It’s About People conference will bring together Europe’s sciences and arts leaders and scholars from diverse disciplines who will share broad perspectives, knowledge, skills, and communication in an educational setting. We envision discussions that will include opinions from around the globe.
Panels’ and Papers’ Disciplines
Panels are not restricted to the Main Theme. Panels on any scholarly discipline are welcome. Scholars and policy and higher education leaders from fields including, but not limited to social and natural sciences, humanities, health, medicine, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, social gerontology, social work, law, education, philosophy, psychology, management, project management, communication, informatics, and archival studies are invited to apply, and present their research and views.
