Alma Mater Europaea and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts invite academics, researchers, thought leaders, practitioners, and postgraduate students, to submit original research, case studies and work for presentation at the 2023 11th annual conference It’s About People. Both full panels and individual presentation proposals are welcome.
Main Theme and Objectives
The event’s main theme is Social and Technological Development in Service of Security and Dignity. In selecting the theme, this event seeks to explore the possibility of advancement of society in terms of broader socio-economic development and technological innovation and change. In uncertain times, proliferating security and serving human dignity are paramount. The 11th It’s About People conference will bring together leading European scholars and thought leaders from diverse disciplines, who will share broad perspectives, knowledge, skills, and communication in an educational setting. We envision discussions that will include opinions from around the globe.
Panels’ and Papers’ Disciplines
Panels are not restricted to the Main Theme. Panels on any scholarly discipline are welcome. Scholars and policy and higher education leaders from areas including, but not limited to social sciences, health, medicine, social gerontology, social work, law, education, psychology, management, project management, communication, archival studies, informatics, philosophy, and humanities are invited to apply, and present their research and views.

Submission Guidelines
Abstracts (200 words maximum; 5 keywords) specifying your contribution should be sent through the online form by 10 November 2022. Submissions and presentation must be in English. No person can appear in more than two submissions or presentations.
We welcome full panel proposals, which should be notified through the online form by 1 November 2022.
Decisions on accepted abstracts will be communicated by 10 December 2022.
The submission of full papers by 1 February 2023 is welcome but not mandatory.
All abstracts and papers will be subject to peer review by the organising committee. All abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. Full papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings unless authors choose not to have them published.10 December 2022Hybrid
